Grille and Headlights Conversion Installation Guide for 1999-2002 Chevy Silverado
Grille and Headlights Conversion can change the look of your truck or SUV entirely.
This is the Grille and Headlights Conversion installation guide for 1999-2002 Chevy Silverado, also applies to 2000-2006 Chevy Suburban and 2000-2006 Chevy Tahoe.
Tools Required

10mm deep socket and rachet, Phillips screwdriver, Panel popper.

Step 1
|
|
Open the hood and remove the engine cover using a panel popper, then remove the headlights and corner lights. There are 2 pins that hold the headlights, twist out and pull up to remove the pins.

Step 2
|
|
In order to remove the grille, use the 10mm socket to remove the bolt from the center, then Use the phillip screwdriver to remove the 4 screws of the grille.

Step 3

|
Carefully remove the side clips from the grille, then remove the grille.
|
Step 4
|
|
Remove the bolt on the bottom of the headlight frame where the corner bumper light is located. Once you remove the bolt, attach the Headlight bracket on the mount as shown on the arrow. The bracket with the black holder should be up right.

Step 5
|
|
Transfer the stock high and low beam bulbs to the new Headlight Conversion. Install the Headlights and put the sockets back on the new Headlights. Connect the LED to the parking lights using a quick connect.

Step 6
|
|
When installing the Headlights, the bottom bolt should snap onto the bracket that was installed earlier. Once you have align the bolt, put the pins back on, on the top end of the Headlights.

Step 7
|
|
Before installing the new Grille, transfer the original 4 phillip snaps to the new Grille.

Step 8
|
|
Install the new Grille by locking the snaps which hold the grille.
|
Done
|
|
Test all functions before driving. Congratulation, you have finished installing Grille and Headlight Conversion.
